How did your professional journey begin, and what sparked your interest in telecommunications networks?

After graduating from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, I wanted to apply my knowledge in the field I had studied. I started my career at a company focused on assessing and benchmarking the quality and performance of telecommunications networks. Through that work, I became increasingly interested in the data behind the network itself - I wanted to understand exactly what I was evaluating, how the network structure worked, and what stood behind its performance.

What motivated you to apply for a role at CETIN, and how has your career developed within the company?

That curiosity was what led me to apply for a position at CETIN, following a recommendation from a university friend. I joined CETIN two and a half years ago as part of the E2E Quality team, where I worked as a Senior Network Optimization Specialist. After that, I had the opportunity to spend six months as a Senior Radio Network Planning and Optimization Specialist, and more recently, to take on the role of leading the E2E Quality team.

What would you highlight as the greatest value of working at CETIN?

I can freely say that the key factor in my decision to join CETIN was the opportunity to learn from experienced telecommunications engineers. CETIN brings together many engineers with diverse profiles and skill sets, who genuinely live the company’s values and give younger engineers the space to bring their own perspective and way of thinking. One of the things I value the most is the company’s openness to new ideas. The freedom to propose solutions and innovations makes me feel like part of an R&D team, which is a strong source of motivation for me. In addition, the knowledge-sharing culture is exceptional - experienced colleagues generously share their expertise, while young professionals show a strong willingness to learn. This synergy creates an environment that inspires and motivates us to be better every day.

Which employee activities do you find particularly valuable?

The company also organizes a wide range of activities for employees. Personally, I would highlight the hiking tours, which are a great opportunity to enjoy nature and connect with colleagues, as well as mental health workshops held throughout the year, which support our personal growth and wellbeing.
